The art of pysanky is fascinating. It's one of the "slow arts" which require much time over an open flame. The result is amazing. Pictured here are real chicken eggs which have been waxed, dyed and blown before glazing.
I have all the requisite equipment, including an electric kistka (I still use the old fashioned one more) and a german Blas-fix single hole blower.
I've had the pleasure of demonstrating this art on several occasions.
