The Show is Over
Here are a few images from our show at Art in the Park in Holland Michigan. Crowds were down due to the HOT HOT day (around 90 and little shade) and the fact that the park moved locations because of downtown construction. But our booth looked great and we met a lot of really nice people.

Art in the Park Mania Final Episode--ART DOLLS
I decided to turn these last few art dolls into angels by adding timtex wings painted with lumiere and dipped in art glitter. These are so easy to make and quite funky! The body is simple cut freehand from two pieces of felt, then sewn with a whipstitch and stuffed. The hair is art fiber sewn to the inside. Faces are made with vintage images printed on inkjet fabric and sewn in place. Then they're embellished with whatever I have laying around!

Made a bunch more altered microscope slide pendants for fun. My soldering skills are improving slowly!

Picture frames made with faux mosaics, collaged picture hooks, metal winged magnets made with alcohol ink painted dominoes, lavender sachets and button collaged picture frames.
