Am I Dancing?

Am I dancing....or falling apart? They look similar. This is a whole lot of serendipity happening here. First, I messed up some skinny book pages and had to rip off a bunch of images of my signature atc. Next I had a piece of watercolor paper that I'd used for spraying some tags, so it had some interesting tag images on it. I started stitching and collaging, then painting and adding actual tags and buttons etc. I had a lot of fun with this. The final piece is mounted on board and stretched to an antique frame with grommets and rusted wire.

I took some of the sketches and put them in a pamphlet stitch book made of watercolor.

Fleeting

I finished this mixed media piece this week. There are a whole lot of things going here--from handmade silk paper to lutrador, metal, machine embroidery, serendipity tiles and etc. Can you spy the recycled compact disks? I think I'll need to do something in black and white after this just to balance out the planet!
