Although I've been a longtime collector of luscious fibers, I've only used them for altered art projects, quilts and etc. A co-worker was talking about her current knitting project and I got the wild idea that I should learn to knit! My 14 year old and I looked at a book and watched a brief DVD and hit the knitting road. This is my first project--a very simple purse with a little knitted flower. I had a blast and am on to more projects. Knitting rocks!
Wishing you a blessed and merry Christmas....may you have peace, joy and love....
ReplyDeleteLove these Kelli! And congrats on your appearance in CPS again! I love the book you have featured there. hugs, Maralena
ReplyDeleteHey! i just learned too. Did you make up the pattern for the purse? I wanna make one.
ReplyDeleteSent you an email Cheryl...but for anyone else--this was supposed to be a scarf but it was way wide. So I just knitted and purled a big square, then folded it in half and stitched up the sides and bottom! After that I knitted a straight flap and strap. Easy peasy.
