Bead it and MEAN IT! Giveway on Monday September 19

I'm excited to announce that on Monday September 19 I'll be giving away Lyric Kinard's new DVD "Bead It Like You Mean It." Learn to foil the quilt police (shhhhhhhh). Right now I'm working on a project, using her excellent techniques. I'd hate to say that I was beading "wrong"...but let's just say that I was not as effective as I could have been. Check back Monday for a chance to win and to see what I've accomplished on a monoprinted quilt that's been sitting in my bin for more than a year!
Meanwhile...there are other opportunities to snag a copy here:

  2. I want to win---- because I want to bead stars and a harvest moon to throw into the sky on very cloudy nights.

  3. I've painted my dalmation with food coloring (she'd come running when she saw the small paintbrush!), now I'm wondering how to bead my party-girl golden retriever..

  4. If anything were possible, I would bead bomb the moon, using all the techniques in the book. Then every night, I could look at the beading and continue to learn about color and line as the moon waxed and waned, and then bliss - a total eclipse, and the halo of beads streaming color and light into the sun-shadowed faux-night.

That's what I would do, because I could share the foundation for a universal, yet ever evolving vision with the world. An endless gift.

Sigh. The soul seeks immortality through art.
